A fashion writer has outlined how women can now adopt the style of Michelle Obama.
The Daily Mirror’s Amber Morales has revealed that a number of high street retailers are selling items that consumers can use to evoke trends highlighted by the first lady-to-be while she was on the campaign trail with her husband.
Writing in the newspaper, she revealed that a floral print dress in Monsoon reflects her style at the second presidential debate, along with black pumps from Marks & Spencer.
However, the writer added that Mrs Obama’s decision to wear a £20 shift dress from H&M while campaigning in Detriot may have been one of her best choices.
She said: "It was in stark contrast to the flashy outfits that Sarah Palin and Cindy McCain regularly wore. The stripe pattern definitely helped Michelle stand out from the crowd."
Details about Michelle Obama’s style have come after Phong Luu of the Daily Telegraph claimed knitted hats are "an essential" part of winter fashion.
