A leading global software company has made its first steps into the fashion world with the help of a major US hip hop artist.
Microsoft has worked with Common on its new Softwear by Microsoft range, which includes logos and designs inspired by the company’s 1980s programs such as MS-DOS and other computer-related imagery.
The shirts are expected to retail in the US for around $15 (£10), with no UK release date yet confirmed for the collection.
Discussing the items in a statement, Microsoft described is as a line "that taps the nostalgia of when PCs were just starting to change our lives".
The company added that it will "showcase the DOS days of the software company that now connects over a billion people".
Common’s decision to work with Microsoft on the range has come after it was revealed by the Daily Record that Paolo Nutini has joined forces with Puma to create a pair of trainers.
