Simpson to launch clothing line

Pop star and actress Jessica Simpson has announced she is planning to launch a range of clothing.

In an interview, the star, who is also well-known for appearing in reality TV show Newlyweds with ex-husband Nick Lachey, revealed that the dress collection will be designed to cater for women of all shapes.

Simpson has claimed that after years in the spotlight, she is very much aware of what works and does not in terms of fashion.

"I’m all about you wearing the dress, not the dress wearing you," she explained to the March issue of In Style magazine.

She added: "If my clothing and accessories make you feel great and let you walk proud and tall - in big, big platform shoes - then I’m happy."

Details about the new dress line have come after US star Hilary Duff revealed she has worked on a clothing range with DKNY Jeans.
