A new line of shoes designed especially for pregnant women have been unveiled.
Website NotBarefoot.com has a range of custom shoes which carry messages announcing the pregnancy.
Slogans such as Baby On Board, or I’m Having A Baby can be emblazoned across the item, together with announcements of the due dates.
Malcolm McDonough, who devised the shoes with his wife Denise, said that they may also branch out the business to cover grandparents and older siblings.
"Comfy new slip on shoes are a great buy during pregnancy, because swollen feet are a common symptom of being pregnant," he explains.
"Now they can also double as a walking billboard to announce your pregnancy and share the exciting news with every step."
Sweatshop Clothing recently made a limited edition of Converse All Stars hi-top trainers emblazoned with the face of The Joker to commemorate the release of the latest Batman film The Dark Knight, uberreview.com reported.
