The wedding dress worn by Sex and the City’s Carrie Bradshaw in the new film based on the series has gone on display in Manchester.
Created by Vivienne Westwood, the dress is now being exhibited in the designer’s outlet on the city’s King Street.
Manchester Evening News reports that the dress was taken from the designer’s Gold Label autumn and winter collection and the store is expecting much interest in it.
A spokesperson for the outlet told the newspaper: "Like everything Carrie wears, it’s high fashion but quite accessible at the same time.
"We’re already preparing for the queues of girls - obviously, if they are seriously thinking of buying it they can try it on for fittings. But it will be on display in store if anyone else wants to have a look."
It was recently revealed that designer Patricia Field, who was worked on Sex and the City, Ugly Betty and The Devil Wears Prada, is designing a new collection for Marks & Spencer.
