Claudia Schiffer has been unveiled as the new face of Yves Saint Laurent, according to reports.
The supermodel is the latest in a number of famous names to work with the celebrated fashion house and will has taken part in promotional photoshoots for the company’s forthcoming marketing campaigns.
Stefano Pilati, the firm’s creative director, is thought to have been behind the decision, while Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin were given the chance to take pictures of the model in the Hollywood Hills.
Talking to the Daily Telegraph, Ms Schiffer revealed she sometimes believes that women look healthier in their 40s than they do when younger.
"I’ve met women who have way better bodies in their 40s because they’ve been working on them for all these years," she added.
It was recently revealed that Scottish singing star Paolo Nutini has turned his hand to designing trainers for sportswear brand Puma.
According to the Daily Record, the fur-lined footwear includes a gold tongue.
