A new scarf designed to be worn in nine different ways has been launched by a UK firm.
The Magic Scarf Company has claimed that the item can be used just as a traditional scarf, but could also be turned into a poncho, pashmina, hood, belt and hand muff if necessary.
It is also believed that the fabric, which costs just £6.50, can also be transformed into a full dress, a skirt or a strapless top.
According to the firm’s Loie Levine, the item has attracted attention from across the globe since its launch.
She explained: "It really is the ultimate accessory, in fact it is more than that, it is almost an entire wardrobe in one.
"It is very popular all over the world as it is a reasonable price and you can do so much with it."
The item is one of several ‘credit crunch’ fashion items to be launched in recent weeks.
BHS recently unveiled a new bridal outfit that it is selling for £100.
