Kanye to keep working in fashion

Musician Kanye West has been discussing his love of fashion, stating that he will continue to pursue his career as a designer on the side.

In an interview with the US OK! Magazine, the Gold-digger singer explained that he is not breaking away from music, but rather dabbling in fashion at the weekends.

He added: "I picked my own outfit out in kindergarten. I was drawing and designing stuff for the longest… Actually, I went to art school but dropped out to do music."

The rapper is set to collaborate with fashion house Louis Vuitton in a pair of shows which will be launched in the new year.

He stated he would like to design some clothes for president-elect Barack Obama, suggesting that while he may not be ready for suits he could create some club wear.

Earlier this month, it was reported that Kanye was taking a break from music to pursue a fashion internship, which he has denied.
