A new line of lingerie by designer Heather Thompson has been unveiled at New York Fashion Week.
The Yummie Tummie Shapewear underwear range was showcased in a café near Times Square by a group of specially selected pole dancers.
Reuters reports that the designer chose the dancers through a competition and chose eight to model the range of lingerie.
The Shapewear line features a range of designs, incorporating "trendy" colours and trims, and aims to smooth out a woman’s mid-section.
Ms Thompson told the news agency: "Every woman of every size deserves sexy lingerie that can be worn underneath her clothes or that’s meant to be seen."
Burlesque artist Dita von Teese has designed a new range of lingerie in partnership with Wonderbra.
Her designs are said to be inspired by 1940s and 50s glamour and the line contains items such as bras, panties and garter belts.
