A new vacuum cleaner which features system settings that make it more energy efficient has been launched.
Called the Turtle Vac, the household appliance is 100 per cent recyclable and can also be switched to a mode which reduces the energy it uses to clean by around 35 per cent.
Retro to Go.com reports that it also features a non-spill dust bag, four levels of filtration, "easy-glide" wheels and adjustable height settings.
The website added that the device retails in the UK for £195.
Details about the eco-friendly appliance have been released after Electrolux also unveiled its own green vacuum cleaner.
According to Smarthouse, the company’s Ultra Silencer Green uses around 30 per cent less energy than a standard device, while it is also thought to create less noise pollution.
The body of the device has been created using re-used plastic, while around 90 per cent of the entire system is recyclable.
