An innovative new computer mouse which features a small in-built vacuum cleaner has been launched by accessories company Thanko.
The USB Cleaner Mouse can be connected to either a computer’s USB 1.1 or 2.0 port and features a small button on its side that allows people to catch and store dirt within the device.
Currently only available in Japan, the computer accessory also features all the regular controls of a normal mouse, such as a scroll wheel and two click buttons.
No plans have been announced for the product to be launched in either the US or UK yet, but it currently retails in Asia for 1980 yen (£9.52).
The launch of the portable vacuum cleaner has come after it was revealed that a well known brand of full-size systems is being recognised as a "design icon" in an event held at Harrods.
Dyson’s cleaner will be joined by the iPod and Etch-a-Sketch at the exhibition, held at the retailer’s Knightsbridge store until the end of May.
