We certainly had enough showers this April to warrant a few May flowers. Now the real work needs to be done transforming that jungle into a vision of beauty for Summer. And whether you can only manage to plant a few flowers or you plan to create a vision of beauty in your yard, there are many products and tools to choose from.
What’s the vision? A little planning goes a long way to tackling the garden. Even if it’s the smallest plot of land, with a little vision and creativity you can develop something special. You can work back from a big concept too—like first deciding to add a gazebo and then planning what will go around it. Ranging in price from £200 to £2,000 you can find many different styles of gazeboes to suite your home.
Tools of the trade. If you don’t yet have the tools you need or the ones you have are a little worse for the wear there are a plethora available. You can look for a handy all-in-one that includes your hand tools, such as a handy patio garden tool set. A few others pieces of equipment to put on your list include: a hedge trimmer, cultivator and a wheelbarrow.
Nurturing your greenery. The next step is to make sure you have the necessary equipment to keep your garden healthy and alive. There are so many sprinklers to choose… oscillating, static, impulse… It does depend on how big your garden is and the amount of water your plants and flowers call for. Amongst others, Hozelock has a number of different styles and accompanying accessories such as timers, wall mounts and water controls.
The final touches. Creating a garden can be hard but exhilarating work. The fun cherry-on-the-top is getting to further adorn your garden with added extras. Fountains can add a soothing touch from a traditional birdbath to a wishing well. There are also fun bird feeders and sculptures to add.
Remember the most important thing is to create an oasis that is your own and makes you happy. In this case it’s about beauty being in the eye of beholder.
