Computer maker Gigabyte has unveiled a laptop with a swivel display.
The Netbook M912V comes with an 8.9-inch LCD panel and touchscreen display that can be rotated 180 degrees to transform the device into a Tablet PC, the company claims.
Weighing 1.3 kg, the M912V also comes with a built-in 1.3 megapixels webcam and has a 2.5-inch Sata HDD 160GB hard drive and an Express Card slot for HSDPA expansion.
The device runs on Microsoft Vista Home while its Latchless design, whereby the exterior of the laptop is "cut and thin in its shape", enabling "easy opening/closing and swivelling", Gigabyte claims.
Bluetooth, 802.11b/g wireless, dual 1.5 watt speakers and an Intel Aton 1.6 GHz processor also feature.
According to PClaunches.com, the M912V will be on sale later this month priced at $699 (£354).
Meanwhile, Digitimes has reported that two new Asus Eee PC laptop models are in the pipeline.
Citing sources at channel vendors, the news provider claims the computer maker is preparing to launch the Eee PC 904 and 905.
