Atrai has announced it is to launch its Family Trainer game in Europe for exclusive use on the Nintendo Wii.
Due to be on sale in September, the game will include a dance mat to add "total body gamplay", a company press release said.
The Namco Bandai-developed title will be known as Active Life: Athletic World in the US.
The game, which can be played by individuals or in groups, offers a wide range of activities including river rafting, mine cart racing, skipping and jumping over logs.
Meanwhile, EA has announced its Skate IT video game is to be adapted for the Nintendo Wii and DS consoles.
A Skate 2 game is also being developed for Play Station 3 and X Box 360, the company said.
The Wii version of the game will use the console’s Balance Board - currently necessary for Wii Fit - enabling players to act much as if they were on an actual skateboard.
