Dell’s new Studio 1735 laptop has been described in a new review as "a great machine".
According to What Laptop’s Mike Browne, the portable computer system is "comfortable to use" with its quality of build "matched by an equally stunning performance".
The 17-inch model’s screen was one of several of aspects to be praised, along with the use of the ATi Mobility Radeon HD 3650 GPU and the Intel Core 2 Duo processor.
"We’re not sure who this new range is ideally aimed at, though - after all, it offers the look of an XPS but not the budget pricing of an Inspiron," the writer explained on TechRadar.com.
"However, it proved a highly effective desktop replacement."
In a recent review on Pocket-Lint.co.uk, Stephen Patrick claimed that Asus’s M51SE laptop was "a stunning notebook".
According to the writer, the system’s £600 price tag made it a "quality, and affordable, powerhouse machine", while its keyboard was found to be particularly comfortable to use.
