Crumpet England heads to Bohemia of Edinburgh

Luxury brand Crumpet England has been added to Bohemia of Edinburgh’s summer womenswear range.

The collection is made up of cashmere knits, in "hip, modern shapes and delicious ombre colours", a statement from Bohemia said.

As cashmere has "unique cooling abilities", the range is perfect for summer, the company claims.

The wool for all Crumpet England garments is sourced from cashmere goats living on high Asian plateaus and the down is removed and spun by hand.

"We were immediately convinced that the flattering, easy to wear, youthful styles from Crumpet England sit well with our other brands and offer our customers luxurious cashmere at an affordable price," said Jenny Lockton, Bohemia co-owner.

Meanwhile, Drapers has reported that womenswear retailer Whistles is to launch a new collection aimed at younger consumers.

According to sources who have seen the new clothing, it is reminiscent of more youthful collections such as those by 3.1 Phillip Lim, Vanessa Bruno, See by Chloe and Reiss, the news provider said.
