Cocktail and drinks cabinets are coming back into fashion as people look to "entertain without the fuss of a dinner party", according to a writer.
The Daily Telegraph’s Nicole Swengley has stated that such cabinets also provide people with a "less permanent" variation on installing a full home bar, but added that the key in choosing them was to find one which suits the room it is based in.
She added that those looking for a relatively inexpensive cabinet to introduce to their home should consider furniture from either Habitat or Aram.
The former’s Aspen cabinet, which costs £599, was described by the writer as "a smart solution", while the latter’s shelf-mirror style was praised.
She wrote in the newspaper: "The mirror creates an illusion that less is more - and we can all drink to that."
Talking to HGTV.com, interior designer Lin Lee recently advised consumers to pick cabinets for their kitchens that have a similar feel to the rest of a home.
