- Low energy Bravia launched
Sony has launched a new low energy Bravia LCD (liquid crystal display) TV, it has been reported.
The company’s new 32-inch addition to the Bravia range uses almost 30kWh (kilowatt hours) of power less than the older version of the TV, which represent a decrease of about 25 per cent in annual power consumption, according to PC World.

Panasonic has announced the release dates of a new high definition plasma TV with the added feature of on-screen access to the internet sites YouTube, Google’s Picasa Web Album and Bloomberg.
The Viera PZ850 PZ850 TV was initially previewed at the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show in January 2008 and it has now been announced it will be available for purchase in mid June.

Sony has launched a new range of Bravia HDTV’s "in a rainbow of pretty colours", it has been reported.
According to Lucy Hedges, writing for review site Shiny Shiny, the new Bravia KLV-20S400A HDTV, which is available in four vibrant colours, includes a Bravia 2008 Engine 2 video processor and 1080p24 input capability as well as three HDMI terminals.
